Getting Real!™: Straight talk about difficult symptoms

About Getting Real®

This workshop for care partners and adult children will address common concerns that accompany disease progression and things to consider when preparing in an intimate conversation with a movement disorder specialist. Due to the topics being covered, we ask only care partners and adult children attend.

Resources & Real Conversations Exclusively for Care Partners & Adult Children.

This FREE, in-person workshop is your chance to learn from and ask your most pressing questions of a leading expert in the movement disorders community. As an adult child or care partner of someone with a movement disorder, you may feel overwhelmed or uncertain of how to plan for what’s ahead. We’ve got practical advice and resources to best support you in your unique needs and concerns.

To create a safe and courageous space for you to ask the questions you need and share experiences with others who understand what it’s like to walk in your shoes, this event is exclusively for care partners and adult children, not people living with a movement disorder. If you’re living with a movement disorder, we’re here for you. We have a rich lineup of programs for you.
