Neil Hermanowicz, MD will share information about medications in the pipeline & his clinical trials at UC Irvine.

Dr. Hermanowicz is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. He is a Professor of Neurology, serves as the Director of the UC Irvine Program for Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders, and is the Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Neurology. He spends the majority of his time in patient care, and is also engaged in clinical research, clinical trials and education. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 25 years. Primary areas of interest include: Parkinson’s disease and related disorders, Huntington’s disease, Dystonia, Essential Tremor and other tremors, Restless leg syndrome, Tardive Dyskinesia, Tic and Tourettes Syndromes, and spasticity. Dr. Hermanowicz is an author of several publications on topics in Movement Disorders.

Dr. Phielipp is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders.   He is an Assistant Professor of neurology and sees patients at the UC Irvine Program for Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders. He received his medical degree from University of Buenos Aires, where he trained in Neurology and Movement disorders, completing a fellowship in Movement Disorders and Neurophysiology in the University of Toronto. In practice for more than 14 years, he spends the majority of time in patient care and also has research interest in Parkinson’s, dystonia, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, musician’s dystonia, writer’s cramp, chorea, myoclonus, tremor, restless leg syndrome, Tic and Tourette’s Syndromes, and spasticity. He has published numerous articles on Parkinson’s and other movement disorders.  He speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Morenkova is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. She is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and sees patients at the UC Irvine Program for Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders. She received her medical degree from the Russian State Medical University and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Her areas of specialty include Parkinson’s disease, Dystonia, Essential Tremor and other tremors, Tics and Tourette’s Syndrome, chorea, Huntington’s Disease, Headaches and migraines, Myoclonus, Restless Leg Syndrome, and Spasticity.  Dr. Morenkova has published on topics in Movement Disorders. She speaks English and Russian.
