Support group leaders are a crucial part of the Movement Disorder Care & Support Ecosystem© and play a leading role in The Community Network. PMD Alliance recognizes the effort and care volunteer leaders put into their support groups, and we want to support you! Certified Parkinson Disease CareFacilities

Certified Parkinson Disease Care™ (CPDC™) facilities and companies demonstrate a commitment to training their staff to create and deliver care plans with specific attention to the symptoms, medications management, and therapy considerations typical when caring for a person with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The training includes clinical information about PD, aspects of daily care related to the aging person with PD, symptom management, patient/resident comfort, and practical staff concerns.
