Description
The Ohio Parkinson Foundation Northeast Region (OPFNE) is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 committed to improving the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in the 17 counties we serve. The foundation offers our annual educational symposium, and supports the efforts of many charitable organizations involved in the development of education and wellness classes for exercise, dance boxing and more for the Parkinson community. At the heart of OPFNE are the 25 Parkinson Support Groups we mentor. We also operate as an information source thru our support of the PEP newsletter mailed to thousands of people in NE Ohio, and thru our website with listings for exercise, dance, upcoming events, webinars and general info and resources.
