The field of focused ultrasound has advanced from research and development into clinical adoption, and the technology is now accepted as a critical element in the therapeutic armamentarium. To date, more than one million patients worldwide have benefited from the technology, and focused ultrasound procedures are now widely used for both Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor.
