I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease on September 30, 2014. I found PMD Alliance shortly after my diagnosis. I joined my first support group and met the greatest group of people I could ever have hoped to meet. Before long I was a Support Group Facilitator and a PMDA Ambassador. I also participate in a few national studies both online and in person and am an active participant in an exercise program.
I facilitate a group for people with PD and their Care Partners, called Coffee Talk.  We meet on Friday from 10 am to 11 am at Banner Sun Health Research.
