The PMD Alliance Public Directory is a free, public resource created to help individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease, care partners, and families find relevant programs, services, and opportunities in one place. 

By accessing or using the Directory, you agree to the following terms. 

Purpose of the Directory 

The Directory is designed as a “one stop shop” for locating Parkinson’s-related resources, including but not limited to: 

• Support groups
• Exercise and wellness programs
• Medical providers (including neurologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals)
• Community programs 
• Events 
• Surveys, research studies, and clinical trials 
   

The Directory is informational only and is intended to support awareness and connection—not to recommend or endorse specific services or providers. 

 

Third-Party Listings 

All Directory listings are created, submitted, and managed by independent third parties. PMD Alliance does not own, operate, control, or endorse any listed organization, provider, service, program, event, study, or trial unless explicitly stated. 

Listings are offered free of charge. PMD Alliance does not accept paid listings, advertisements, or sponsorships within the Directory. 

 

Verification Process 

PMD Alliance performs a basic verification process to confirm that submitted listings appear to be legitimate and authentic (for example, confirming that an organization, provider, or program exists). 

Verification does not include evaluation or validation of: 

• Medical advice, clinical quality, or treatment outcomes
• Provider credentials, licensure, or certifications 
• Safety, effectiveness, or appropriateness of services
• Compliance with healthcare, research, or professional regulations
• Accuracy, completeness, or ongoing updates of listing information 
   

Information may change over time, and PMD Alliance does not guarantee that listings are current or error-free. 

 

Medical & Professional Disclaimer 

The Directory may include listings for medical providers and healthcare-related services. Inclusion in the Directory does not constitute medical advice, referral, or endorsement by PMD Alliance. 

Content within the Directory is for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical conditions, treatment decisions, exercise programs, or participation in research or clinical trials. 

 

User Responsibility

Listing Submissions & Management 

Organizations and individuals submitting listings agree that: 

• All information provided is accurate, truthful, and not misleading
• They are authorized to represent the listed organization or service
• They will maintain and update their listing as needed
• Their listing complies with applicable laws and regulations 
   

PMD Alliance reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, remove, suspend, or decline any listing at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. 

 

Limited Liability 

The PMD Alliance Public Directory is provided “as is” and “as available.” 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PMD Alliance disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to: 

• Use of or reliance on Directory information
• Errors, omissions, or outdated content
• Participation in any listed program, service, event, study, or trial
• Interactions with listed providers, organizations, or individuals 
   

Changes to These Terms 

PMD Alliance may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Directory constitutes acceptance of any changes.
