Up Ending Parkinson’s provides rock climbing and movement-based programs designed to help people living with Parkinson’s improve balance, mobility, strength, and confidence. Our sessions are welcoming, research-supported, and led by volunteers who help each participant climb in a way that feels safe and empowering. No experience necessary or expected.
The group meets 10-11:30am and 6-7:30pm at Alta Climbing Gym in Gilbert, AZ.
Rock Steady Boxing is an evidence-based, non-contact boxing program specifically designed to help people living with Parkinson’s disease. It is specifically designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms such as slow or small movements, imbalance, stiffness, flexed posture, and respiratory weakness.
Our support group welcomes individuals living with Parkinson’s together with their families and caregivers. Connecting with others who understand your concerns and experiences can be invaluable on this journey. Join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month for our meetings.
