We provide outpatient speech, language, cognition, myofunctional and swallowing services in-office or via telehealth for the most functional, effective, and convenient interventions to support you and your loved ones. We bring over 20 years of experience evaluating and treating adults with a wide range of neurological disorders and have dedicated the past 10 years of our clinical, educational, and advocacy work to supporting the Parkinson’s community. Our areas of clinical specialization include swallowing and swallowing disorders (dysphagia), neurological motor speech disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and cognitive-communication disorders. We are trained in SPEAK OUT!®, Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT LOUD®), the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, allowing us to deliver highly skilled, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.

InMotion® uses a community-based group approach to help people with Parkinson’s disease feel better every day. Located in Beachwood, Ohio, InMotion® provides evidence-based healing arts, physical wellness, education, support and symptom-specific programs that have been shown to slow disease progression and help people live well.
InMotion® offers all programs at no charge to its clients, and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations to fulfill its mission.
Alpha Neuro Fitness is a facility located in Cincinnati, OH providing 1-on-1 exercise therapy training for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Symptom specific training includes: gait, balance, cognitive, boxing, flexibility, strength and boxing training with a plethora of multitasking all catered to the client. Along with speech therapy onsite and future plans to incorporate additional holistic therapies such as red light sauna, cold plunge, and vibration therapy.
The Ohio Parkinson Foundation Northeast Region (OPFNE) is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 committed to improving the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in the 17 counties we serve. The foundation offers our annual educational symposium, and supports the efforts of many charitable organizations involved in the development of education and wellness classes for exercise, dance boxing and more for the Parkinson community. At the heart of OPFNE are the 25 Parkinson Support Groups we mentor. We also operate as an information source thru our support of the PEP newsletter mailed to thousands of people in NE Ohio, and thru our website with listings for exercise, dance, upcoming events, webinars and general info and resources.
Our large nursing home and assisted living center is like a neighborhood with eight homes (Households). Our Households have consistent staffing and team leadership. Residents and their families are part of the decision making process about their lives and care.
Our residents with Parkinson’s may need more support than the average resident, and because of that, our staff is always on hand to create a gentle and nurturing environment with the support they need to thrive.
