Dancing with Parkinson’s
Wednesday, 2-2:45 pm Eastern Time, supportive discussion 2:45-3:15, Great Room and on Zoom
For people with Parkinson’s and their spouses or caregivers. This light hearted, invigorating movement class includes simple rhythmic exercises to music, and some vocal exercises. Exercises can be modified to suit each individual’s level of comfort and ability. This form has been shown to have positive effects on gait speed, strength, balance, and quality of life. This is a hybrid class with some participants meeting in the Great Room and others joining on Zoom. In person participants need to come in the front door, check in, then go to the Great Room.
Participants can register by calling 937-767-5751. A link will be emailed about an hour before class and opens 15 minutes before class starts.
