Rock Steady Boxing is an evidence-based, non-contact boxing program specifically designed to help people living with Parkinson’s disease. It is specifically designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms such as slow or small movements, imbalance, stiffness, flexed posture, and respiratory weakness.
Up Ending Parkinson’s provides rock climbing and movement-based programs designed to help people living with Parkinson’s improve balance, mobility, strength, and confidence. Our sessions are welcoming, research-supported, and led by volunteers who help each participant climb in a way that feels safe and empowering. No experience necessary or expected.
The group meets 10-11:30am and 6-7:30pm at Alta Climbing Gym in Gilbert, AZ.
Rock Steady Boxing Gilbert offers boxing fitness classes designed for people with Parkinson’s disease. Besides boxing, we work on strength, balance, cognition, and more. The camaraderie of our classes is key!
We offer 8 classes a week Monday through Friday. This includes two PM classes on Tuesday/Thursday for those still working or who would rather come exercise at night.
