A.T. Still University is pleased to announce their new pro-bono clinic, University Center for Occupational and Physical Therapy, is now open!
Through this unique opportunity, students and the university are able to provide free occupational and physical therapy services to the community in Arizona’s East Valley.
Each therapy session will include students from A.T. Still University and faculty who are licensed occupational or physical therapists, who are focused in their areas of clinical expertise.
Tara L. McIsaac, PT, Ph.D., a faculty member at the clinic, specializes in movement disorders, specifically Parkinson disease. For over 27 years, Dr. McIsaac has worked in adult neurorehabilitation. During the last 20 years, she has focused on Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. Dr. McIsaac is PWR! certified, works with Becky Farley, Ph.D., MS, PT on clinical and research projects as the PWR! Research Consultant.
The clinic schedules patients Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 pm with faculty according to their clinical expertise. As the need arises in the future, hours available may be expanded. Currently, Dr. McIsaac is able to work with individuals with PD or other movement disorders on Mondays.
