Rock Steady Boxing is an evidence-based, non-contact boxing program specifically designed to help people living with Parkinson’s disease. It is specifically designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms such as slow or small movements, imbalance, stiffness, flexed posture, and respiratory weakness.
This group serves care partners/caregivers of people with Parkinson’s disease. All care partners/caregivers are welcome. We meet via Zoom on the second Sunday of each month at 2pm Eastern Time. Meetings typically consist of 12 – 18 people. The group is run in an informal, conversational manner where we share information and emotional support. We also occasionally have expert speakers, especially psychologists who help us to cope with our care partner/caregiver emotions and those of our loved ones suffering from PD. We also have a WhatsApp group for our members where we can share questions, information and support between meetings.
