Up Ending Parkinson’s is a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease through adaptive climbing. Since 2012, UEP has grown from one gym Virginia into a network of 77 partnering US gyms. Participants build strength, confidence, and meaningful connection through indoor climbing sessions with trained volunteers, education, outreach, and research partnerships highlighting the power of movement for people with Parkinson’s. UEP gyms are welcoming spaces where individuals experience the powerful impact of community and challenge.
