The Santa Cruz County Parkinson’s Group, in existence for more than 35 years, and, now, EASE PD (Exercise, Activities, Support, Education for PD), our more recently established non-profit organization, provide many activities and services, among them a monthly newsletter (Movers & Shakers), monthly educational meetings (usually attended by 40-60 people, singing and Taiko drumming groups, rock climbing, pickleball, table tennis, and small support groups for PwP and care partners. Information about all of these can be found on our website.
We welcome anyone with a movement disorder to our monthly meetings in person or virtually.

Dr. Robert Hauser is a Professor of Neurology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, in Tampa, Florida. He serves as Director of the USF Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center, a Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence. Dr. Hauser completed a fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of South Florida and became Center Director in 1994. He has authored or co-authored more than 350 peer-reviewed publications and is one of the world’s most cited Parkinson’s Disease investigators. Dr. Hauser’s primary research interest is the development of new medical and surgical treatments for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He has extensive expertise in clinical trial design and execution. Dr. Hauser maintains an active clinical practice and he has been voted a Top Doctor by his peers every year since 1993.
BAPS exists to support people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers who live in or near Bell County, Texas.
