A new support group at the UT Health San Antonio Center for Brain Health is giving patients with Parkinson’s disease a rare opportunity: to learn directly from other patients who have already undergone deep brain stimulation (DBS), a surgical treatment that can significantly improve quality of life but remains widely underused.
Living with or caring for someone with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), and multiple system atrophy (MSA)? You don’t have to face it alone! Join us to connect, share, and learn in a welcoming and supportive space. Anyone affected by Atypical Parkinson’s, including care partners and family members, are welcome to join. Free lunch provided!
